Submission Requirements

  • Register via the Cold Spring Harbor portal before submitting your abstract; payment may be deferred until acceptance.
  • After registering, you’ll receive a unique submission link by email—please upload your abstract there in plain‑text format.
  • Abstracts must be no longer than 2,900 characters (including spaces).
  • Poster abstracts are accepted through May 9, 2025. If your talk is accepted and you choose a poster instead, no additional submission is required.
  • Your acceptance email will include full details on:
    • Talk scheduling and presentation timing
    • Poster session guidelines
    • On‑site poster printing options at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
  • An on‑site printing service ensures your poster is ready for collection upon arrival.

Who can submit an abstract? +

Abstract submissions are open to anyone working with Galaxy or Bioconductor. This includes academic researchers, software developers, educators, students, and industry professionals. We encourage interdisciplinary work that showcases innovative uses of our platforms.

Talk Decisions: April 17, 2025
Poster Submission: May 9, 2025
Poster Decisions: May 19, 2025

What happens if I’m accepted? +

You’ll receive an email with your session assignment, presentation instructions, and poster guidelines. On‑site poster printing options at CSHL will be detailed so your poster is ready when you arrive. An electronic abstract book with full program will be shared ahead of the conference.
